Happy October 2016!

Happy October 2016, JLPOA!
I hope this website blog post finds you all well (and warm).

If you haven’t been to the lake lately, you’re missing out.  Fall is in full swing and the trees are absolutely gorgeous.  The duck hunters have also provided an automated wake-up alarm at dawn again this year, completely free of charge!

Just a friendly reminder: be sure to get your above ground water connections winterized and be respectful of your neighbors by cleaning up the leaves and debris on your lots and your greenbelt.

Happy Fall!  See ya at the lake!

Family, Friends and Neighbors,

Thank you so much for carrying on Lacy’s memory. She will always hold a special place in all our hearts.

This year eight (8) students applied for the LHMSF scholarship in March and we are proud to announce we awarded $20,000 in scholarships.

Our winning students are Valerie Snyder, Alexis Gonzales,Kadin Kracke, Madison Shepherd, Connor Wood,Melissa Hawkins, Kyndra Konig, and Laura Walker.

As of 2016 the Lacy Hickson Memorial Scholarship Foundation has awarded scholarships to fifty (50!) students in the amount of $60,000 in the last 10 years!

This year we held two (2) horseshoe events, May 28th and August 6th, and our 11th Annual ‘LHMS Dinner’ at the JLPOA Clubhouse on September 24th.  Also, some special friends sold fly shooters and cherry anklets.

Thank you for attending our events. We look forward to awarding $7000 for the school year 2017.

We thank you so much for your kindness and support; we certainly could not have done this without all of you. Thank you again!  We simply cannot say that enough!
