Yesterday, December 8th, we had an opportunity to use our emergency notification system.
There was a homeowner that experienced a water leak on their property that required shutting the water off at tap 509.
The text message was sent out at 1:49 PM and received by most members at 1;50 PM. The text was sent to 58 different phone numbers.
The text stated where the water was being shut off and an estimated time that the water would be off.
It worked very well.
