JLPOA Owners.
As the July 4th holiday season approaches, we understand peoples desires to be patriotic in celebrating this time of year with fireworks and salute cannons. We would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone that aerial and other certain forms of fireworks are prohibited in the state of Colorado. Although the JLPOA has no legal ability enforce this, we kindly ask that you please limit the use of such displays to within a week of the actual holiday in order to be respectful to your neighbors, their pets, and small children. We also ask that you be mindful of your neighbors as to the time of day you celebrate in this manner with either fireworks or salute cannons.
Also, as lake season is upon us and more owners are taking advantage of the nice weather to enjoy our community with their pets, we have seen quite a bit of dog poop along the roads, greenbelts, and common areas. Again, we ask that you please be mindful and respectful of your neighbors by picking up after your pets, there are several dog poop bag stations stocked with supplies and placed strategically throughout the community for you to take advantage of. We would also like to remind you please maintain control of your animals when enjoying common areas.
JLPOA is subject to the same Local, State and Federal Laws as all residents residing in Morgan County in regard to fireworks, salute cannons, and pets. If you witness activity not permitted by these laws or feel that you may be a victim of illegal activity, you are free to and have every legal right to contact the Morgan County Sheriffs Office at (970)-867-2461 or dial 911 if it is an emergency.
