It is with a heavy heart and tears in my eyes that I share with you this news of the passing of Donna Ohri, longtime owner of lots 304-305, one of the matriarchs of the JLPOA and one of the kindest, most giving and most thoughtful people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.
For many years, Donna, her husband Andy, and Granddaughter,Sara, came to Jackson Lake with Steve and Pam Sheaff and Granddaughters, Jessica and Samantha, where she pursued her love of slalom skiing.
Donna and Andy bought property at the lake in 1998 where Donnafound that her neighbor was longtime friend, Beth McCaskle.
They moved to the lake permanently in 2004 with their Granddaughter, Sara, soon to follow.
Donna loved to laugh, joke, tease and prank others…especially Chris Barnhill and Brad Hueske.
Donna developed many very close and wonderful friendships and leaves behind *many* “lake Grandchildren” (our daughter Emma included, who, like most of the “lake kids”, knew her as “Grandma Donna”).
She leaves two daughters, Diane and Kim, five granddaughters, Becky, Sara, Jessica, Samantha, and Brooke and five great-grandchildren, Stevie Ray, Redmond, Lehi, Asher and Carli.
The Memorial Service will be held at the JLPOA Clubhouse – Sunday, April 10th at 1:30PM
“May the winds of Heaven blow softly and whisper in your ear, how much we love and miss you and wish that you were here.”
