JLPOA has 6 open part-time positions. If you are interested in any of these positions, please contact a JLPOA board member or talk to a board member at the Annual Meeting.
Boat Inspectors
Four part time employees to work at the JLPOA Boat Ramp performing ANS inspections. The boat ramp is open on Friday from 2 PM to 8 PM, Saturday from 9 AM to 8 PM and Sunday from 9 AM to 6 PM and Holidays from 9 AM to 6 PM. You must take the ANS Inspector class and pass the exam. The position is seasonal from the end of May through the first week of September depending on the water level in the lake. Training is paid and will take place in March. Salary: $18/hour 10 – 15 hours / week
Requirements:
- Must be able to work outdoors on weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
- Must be able to climb in and out of vessels and under trailers.
- Training in boat inspection methods will be provided.
- Ability to work with little supervision.
Mowing and General Maintenance
A part time employee maintaining greenbelts by moving, trimming and pruning and general maintenance of common areas including the playground, clubhouse patio, and corn hole / horseshoe areas. The position reports to the Maintenance Director. Salary $18/hour 5-10 hours / week.
Requirements
- Must be able to work outdoors.
- Must be able to safely operate hand tools and power equipment, including mowers, leaf-blowers, and tractors.
- Ability to work with little supervision.
Treasurer Assistant
The Treasurer’s Assistant will support the financial operations of the JLPOA managing owner dues payments, assisting with account reconciliation, and providing general support to the JLPOA Board. This role is ideal for an organized and detail-oriented individual looking for part-time work. The position requires up to 6 hours per week with a flexible schedule. Salary: $18+/hour based on experience.

- Willingness to learn QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel. Training will be provided by the Treasurer
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
