The JLPOA Board has approved the purchase of an AED (defibrillator). Since we are arural community medical assistance is up to 30 minutes away. On site AEDs save precious treatment time, and can improve survival odds because they can be used before emergency medical service (EMS) personnel arrive.
We will hold our first training course at the Clubhouse on Saturday, Oct 31, 2020 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm. Space is limited to eight (8) people, and you must sign-up. Masks are required for the class.
We will give full time JLPOA residents priority for this first class. Additional classes will be scheduled depending on demand. To sign up for the October 31st class, please send an email with your name, lot number and phone number to jlpoa.aed@gmail.com by Tuesday October 27th.
